Here, we use mindful movement to create space, strength, balance, and stability in the body, and energy enhancement and meditation techniques to increase vitality and an overall sense of wellness. Although the teachers at Mindful work together, we run our own schedules and charge separately.

This is a basics class - a practical approach to mindful movement for every level of practice. Beginners, injured people, aging people, and advanced people - we all need to work on balance and stability if we are going to be balanced and stable.

​The goal of mindful movement is to live in a healthy body free of pain. We must move, but it shouldn't have to hurt to stop hurting.

I'm Helen.

I teach user friendly, practical, low-risk, high-reward
movement classes ​for everyone.
I've been teaching mindful movement to people in pain for a long time. Beginners, boomers, and injured people of all ages benefit from my philosophy of keeping you working hard, in a safe range, for maximum benefit. We focus a lot on balance, stability, hip, back and shoulder strength in my classes, and always end with a long meditative relaxation.
