The goal of mindful movement is to live in a healthy body free of pain. We must move, but it shouldn't have to hurt to stop hurting. |
I'm Helen.I teach user friendly, practical, low-risk, high-reward
movement classes for everyone. I've been teaching mindful movement to people in pain for a long time. Beginners, boomers, and injured people of all ages benefit from my philosophy of keeping you working hard, in a safe range, for maximum benefit. We focus a lot on balance, stability, hip, back and shoulder strength in my classes, and always end with a long meditative relaxation.
